I said that I should study

Instead I fell asleep a few times over.

SOOOO... I was reading some back posts and I wanted to reexamine some things.

An original list of things I've noted here and how I felt about them:

1. NOTHING LIKE A WAL-MART, the closest thing is an Ikea, but you can't get food there. I have to go to three different shops for all my needs....

Not too much of a big deal, I still wake up at 4 am with a crazy craving for random stuff but I'm learning to control myself.

2. Men with BABIES... I see men alone with their children all the time.. Baby carriages, snugglies, etc...

I don't even notice anymore, in fact, it's just nice.

3. Small meat market sections

I still miss meat, but salami is cheap and I think the veggie heavy diet has been good for me.

4. Pedestrians don't look when they cross the street, they just blindly walk out with the expectation that traffic will stop... and it does.

Another, thing I've grown used to. I don't think about it anymore.

5. EVERY THINGS COSTS A LOT!!!!!!!!! again... Land of the $20 hot dog.. but my housing is UBER-CHEAP... go figure

Upon later discovery, it's cheap because of communism, not sure how I should feel. Everything is still expensive (but the dollar did get stronger) but I don't think about it anymore.

6. 30,000 students at this college...

Only difference I have noticed is that I don't run into my friends as much as I would like.

7. 500,000 people in this city

There's more to do here than in SHERMAN!

8. No cheap off brands (except for one, first price, but it's hard to find)

Finally figured things out more, still bugs me though.

9. People are BLUNT, no tact

I'm blunt too, why the hell did I even care?

10. It's really cool to accidentally discover a castle in the middle of the city

That is still really cool, or to take a train to a lake, or a bus to the woods for hiking!
